Malouf Auto Group began in 1976 as a small car Dealership. Over time, Tom Malouf developed a reputation for excellent quality and affordable used cars.
With the help of wife Rose, and son Paul, as well as some other key staff members, Tom was able to develop and grow the business, and maintain a focus on great value for money. With exceptional sales of Daewoo vehicles, Honda was soon knocking on the door. Again with an invigorated team and another new product, Honda soon became a huge market share holder in Mount Isa.
In 2004, Holden and Mazda joined forces with the Malouf team, and Malouf Auto Group was created. As Daewoo ceased trading in Australia, Malouf Auto Group consolidated into 3 dealerships on Marian Street, with a dedicated Holden Dealership, combined Honda and Mazda Dealership and a stand alone site for Used Cars.
