AWARD
The Community Organisation Award aims to recognise outstanding performance and celebrate the range and diversity of volunteering activities in the Northern Outback - including volunteering through community organisations as well as community participation in less formal settings.
This award is open to not-for-profit or community organisations who contribute significantly to the wider community and not-for-profit sector.
The award recognises the wide range of community and personal benefits of volunteering and community participation. They also recognise and celebrate innovation and good practice in a changing volunteering and community participation environment, and provide examples of innovation and good practice to the wider community and not-for-profit sector.
